Ms. Maddy Goes to Preschool

Ms. Maddy went to preschool
a little nervous
a lot excited
but away she went

I thought by the time you got to number 4
the first day of school would be routine
but like Maddy
a little nervous
a lot excited
away I went too.

And we both made it.
Her, happy at a class full of new friends.
And me, a little sad my baby has grown up so fast
and quite proud my baby has grown up to be
a darling little school girl.
